The transfer is simple: door-to-door, air-conditioned vehicle, driver who knows the border procedure, and a scenic drive through the Zambezi National Park wildlife corridor en route. No rental car, no border confusion, no navigating unfamiliar roads in a foreign country.
The Journey
Kasane (Airport or Hotel) → Victoria Falls (Hotel)
Your driver meets you at Kasane Airport arrivals or your Kasane hotel at the agreed time. Luggage is loaded and you depart for the Kasungula border post, approximately 15 minutes from Kasane town.
At the border, your driver assists you through Botswana exit immigration and Zimbabwe entry immigration. Processing time is typically 30–45 minutes, though it can be longer during busy periods. Once through, you continue on the Zimbabwe side to your Victoria Falls hotel, a further 70km drive through the Zambezi National Park wildlife corridor. The drive itself is scenic and wildlife sightings (elephant, buffalo, giraffe, lion) along the roadside are common.
Total journey time: approximately 2 hours door-to-door.
Victoria Falls (Hotel) → Kasane (Airport or Hotel)
The reverse route works identically. Your driver collects you from your Victoria Falls hotel, handles the Zimbabwe exit and Botswana entry formalities at Kasungula, and delivers you to Kasane Airport or your Chobe lodge.
