Seeking for adrenaline thrilling experience in the Zambezi River? We offer whitewater rafting in Zambezi River in Victoria Falls at very affordable price. You can call us now at +263774183027.
Your Victoria Falls rafting adventure will begin with a hotel pick-up between 7am-7.30am. Prior to the trip, you will receive indemnities via email, which must be signed before the adventure. It is recommended that you wear light clothing that you don't mind getting wet for the rafting adventure, including appropriate footwear. Additionally, it is important to bring sunscreen to protect yourself from the African sun.
The rafting adventure experience will vary depending on the season you visit. During low water season (August-December), if you opt for a Full Stretch rafting adventure, you will only need to drive for 5 minutes to reach the top of the canyon. However, if you choose a High Water (Half Stretch) rafting adventure during high water season (usually Jan-mid/end March and again June-July), you will need to drive for approximately 15km to reach the river. Once you arrive at the top of the canyon, you will be provided with a life-jacket, a windbreaker if it's raining, helmets, and paddles (if you choose a paddle raft). Your head guide will then conduct a full safety briefing before you begin the steep climb down into the gorge and along the bottom of the gorge to the put-in point. At the bottom of the canyon, your guide will assign you positions and conduct a practice run in a pool before the actual adventure begins.
The adventure truly begins as you embark on a thrilling journey through the rapids. During low water season, you will cover a distance of 26km and navigate through 19 rapids, most of which are grade 4 or 5. However, during high water season, the distance covered may be about 18km or 24km, depending on the stretch of the river that you have booked, and some rapids may be skipped. It is important to note that rafting may be closed during April-May, subject to water levels.
Get ready to conquer the notorious rapids, each with a name that is bound to strike fear in the hearts of would-be rafters, such as “The Terminators,” “The Mother,” and “The Washing Machine.” Our experienced guides will expertly steer you through the formidable rapids of the mighty Zambezi, creating an unforgettable ride. Not only will you experience the adrenaline-pumping thrill of this incredible activity, but you will also be awed by the sheer beauty and tranquility of the breathtaking Batoka gorge.
After the adventure, you will have a steep climb out of the gorge. You don't need to be super fit, but do need a reasonable level of fitness. Just take your time. At the top, cold beers, braai, and veggies await, and you will be driven back to your hotel.

In order to ensure the safety and dryness of your sunscreen and medication, please bring them along with you, and our guides will store them in our first aid kits and dry bags. It is important to note that any items you bring should be ones that you do not mind getting wet or losing. We recommend that you leave all other belongings with our drivers at the top of the canyon or in your hotel room.
As the drive to and from the rafting may be cold, we suggest that you wear long-sleeved clothing. Our open jeeps are equipped with locker boxes and a dry bag where you can leave your clothes at the top of the canyon. Changing into dry clothes can be done behind a tree or large rock at the top of the canyon. Welcome to Africa, and get ready for an unforgettable adventure!
